THe Offering

Avila Yoga was created as a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect—
with yourself, with silence, and with what truly matters.
Each practice below is an invitation to slow down and return to balance. There is no competition here, no performance—only presence.
Yoga
Yoga, for me, is not just movement—
It’s a conversation between body, breath, and awareness. It’s the point where stillness and strength meet.
In every class, we move mindfully, allowing breath to guide the body rather than the other way around. The practice shifts between Vinyasa Flow, which builds energy and focus; Yin Yoga, which invites stillness and surrender; and Yoga Nidra, a deeply restorative state of conscious rest.
These sessions aren’t about pushing limits or chasing perfection. They’re about cultivating awareness—listening to the subtle signals within, finding softness in effort, and recognising that every breath is an opportunity to begin again.
Meditation
Meditation sits at the heart of everything I teach and everything I am still learning.
It is the foundation of clarity, humility, and calm.
Through guided silence, breath awareness, and gentle focus techniques, we create space between thoughts—space where understanding begins to unfold naturally. The mind settles, the body softens, and in that stillness something shifts. It’s not about emptying the mind but observing it—patiently, without judgment—until the noise quiets and truth can be heard.
Meditation is a daily practice for me, one that continues to change my life in subtle ways. Over time, it seeps into everything—how we speak, how we listen, how we live.
Sound
Healing
Sound has the ability to reach places words cannot.
When vibration moves through the body, it helps release what we’ve been holding—tension, emotion, even old energy we didn’t know we were carrying.
Using Nepalese singing bowls, crystal bowls, and other harmonic instruments, these sessions are less about doing and more about surrendering. The tones and frequencies help calm the nervous system, balance the energy centres, and encourage a deep meditative state where stillness feels effortless.
Each sound journey is unique, shaped by the energy in the room and the people present. Often, it’s in the final lingering note that something subtle yet profound is felt—a quiet release, a lightness, a remembering.
All of these practices—yoga, meditation, sound—are simply different paths leading to the same place: presence.
They invite us to peel back the layers, to reconnect with what’s beneath the noise, and to live more consciously, more kindly, more fully.
If something here speaks to you, I’d love to share the experience. You can reach out through the Gateway page. Every journey begins with a single breath.
